BRAND NEW FOR 2026-
INTRODUCING THE
PENN JERSEY CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES!

We are excited to announce the launch of the Penn-Jersey Championship Series, a new non-qualifying U.S. Figure Skating  series. Our goal is to create a fun and meaningful series that provides opportunities for skaters of all levels and tracks to compete, showcase their unique strengths, develop their skills, and earn recognition.  The series will consist of four competitions in total, where skaters may enter the events of their choice; no pre-registration will be required to be considered for series-end awards.

Series high score trophies will be awarded for all IJS events.  Skaters are not limited to the number of competitions that they may attend, and are encouraged to participate in multiple competitions to maximize their opportunities for placement and recognition.  A minimum of two competitions must be attended to be considered for the high score trophy.  Each skater’s top two highest scores will be tabulated to determine the series-end awards. Skaters who attend all four competitions will be entered in a drawing for a free entry into next season's competition series.

Series 1st place finish trophies will be awarded for all 6.0 events.  Skaters are not limited to the number of competitions that they may attend, and are encouraged to participate in multiple competitions to maximize their opportunities for placement and recognition.  A minimum of two competitions must be attended to be considered for the high placement (1st place) trophy.  Each skater’s top two highest rankings will be tabulated to determine the series-end awards. Skaters who attend all four competitions will be entered in a drawing for a free entry into next season's competition series.

Trophies will be awarded at the final competition of the series (Princeton Skating Club, May 30–31) as follows:

        •       Pre-Preliminary through Senior (Well Balanced and Excel)

        •       Adult Pre-Bronze through Masters

        •       Snowplow Sam through Basic 6 Program with music after final round

        •       Aspire 1-4 Program with music after final round

Please check the official announcement for each competition individually for additional skating opportunities, such as Showcase, Partnered, and Special Olympics Badge events.

The Penn Jersey Championship Series represents a comprehensive and inclusive opportunity for skaters of all levels and abilities to showcase their skills, compete with peers, and earn accolades throughout the series.  We look forward to inspiring skaters to keep growing, training, and celebrating their passion for figure skating.
